1. Photo Usage Policy — Free to Use, Credit Required

Every photo published on Prompts For Photos is free to download and use, for personal and commercial projects alike, on one simple condition: you must give visible credit to Prompts For Photos together with a working link back to our website. That credit is the only thing we ask for in return, and it is what allows us to keep releasing these images for free.

Where the credit must appear

• Websites, blogs and articles: in a caption directly below or beside the photo, as a clickable link. Do not hide it behind a hover state, a pop-up, or a separate page.
• Social media: in the visible caption or post text of the same post that shows the photo. Tagging or mentioning our account as well is welcome but does not replace the written credit.
• YouTube and video: on screen while the photo is shown, or in the video description with the full link.
• Print, PDF, slides and presentations: next to the photo, or on a credits page, written out as: Photo by Prompts For Photos — www.promptsforphotos.com

Wherever it appears, the credit must be legible, in a normal reading size, and easy for an ordinary viewer to notice. A credit that has been shrunk, faded, or buried does not satisfy this policy.

What you may do

• Use them in social media posts, thumbnails and cover images
• Use them in YouTube videos, reels, shorts and video thumbnails
• Use them in school, college and university projects
• Use them commercially — in marketing, advertising, client work and paid products

What you may not do

• Resell, redistribute or give away the photos as files — including uploading them to stock photo sites, wallpaper apps, image packs, prompt bundles, or any download or file-sharing service
• Claim the photos as your own creation, or present yourself as their owner or original author
• Sell them unmodified as posters, prints, canvases or physical merchandise where the photo itself is the product
• Use them as a logo, trademark, service mark, business name or design mark
• Use them in a way that suggests Prompts For Photos endorses, sponsors or is associated with your product, service, campaign, party or opinion
• Use them for unlawful, defamatory, pornographic, hateful, harassing or deliberately misleading purposes
• Include them in a dataset used to train, fine-tune or benchmark an AI image model
• Strip, alter or obscure the required credit, or remove any watermark or metadata attached to a photo

If you cannot give credit

Some projects genuinely cannot carry a visible credit. If that applies to you, email us before you publish and tell us how you intend to use the photo. We grant credit-free permission in writing on a case-by-case basis, and it is usually free. Permission only counts if you have it from us in writing.

If credit is missing

Permission to use a photo is granted only for as long as the credit stays in place. If we find one of our photos published without it, we will normally contact you first and give you a short, reasonable window to add the credit or take the photo down. If that is ignored, we may issue a takedown notice to the website host, the platform, or the search engine, and take any further action open to us. Adding the credit later restores your permission for future use.

About our images

Our photos are produced with AI image tools using prompts written by us, then selected, edited and published by our team. Your right to use them comes from the licence set out in this section. Downloading or using a photo means you accept these terms.

No warranty

The photos are provided "as is". You are responsible for making sure your particular use is lawful in your country and suitable for your purpose, including any local rules on advertising, likeness or sensitive subject matter. We give no warranty and accept no liability for how the photos are used.

We may update this usage policy at any time. Photos you have already published in line with the version of the policy in force at the time remain properly licensed.

2. Our Written Content

All prompts, articles, guides, and original written content on this website are the property of Prompts For Photos unless otherwise stated. Reproduction or redistribution of our original content without permission is prohibited. Our prompts are free for you to use to generate your own images; copying our prompt text, articles or page layouts onto another website is not permitted.

3. Third-Party Tool Names

References to third-party AI tools and platforms such as Midjourney, OpenAI/DALL-E, Stable Diffusion, and similar services are used strictly for descriptive and informational purposes. All trademarks, logos, and brand names belong to their respective owners, and Prompts For Photos claims no ownership over them.

4. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that content on our website infringes your copyright, please submit a written DMCA notice containing the following information:

5. Where to Send Your Notice

6. Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice with the same contact details, identifying the removed material and stating under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was mistakenly removed.

7. Repeat Infringers

We reserve the right to remove content and take appropriate action against repeat copyright infringers in accordance with the DMCA.
